what are the different ways of pronouncing the -s suffix?

there are 3 ways of pronouncing the -s suffix.
this is similar to the way to pronounce the -ed suffix.
again, we have to look at what occurs before the suffix.

-ed suffix

eg : wait /weitid/
/d/ - voiced sound except /d/
eg : gain /geind/
/t/ - voiceless sounds except /t/
eg : pack /pvkt/

-s suffix
/iz/ - sibiliant sounds - /s/ /z/ /d3/ /3/ /longf/ /tlongf/
eg : boss /bc:siz/ horse /hc:siz/
/s/ - voiceless sounds (except /s/
/longf/ /tlongf/)
eg: lap /lvps/ cat /kaets/
/z/ - voiced sounds (except /z/
/d3/ /3/)
eg : lab /lvpz/ dog/d(inverted-a)gz/
