Definition
- a language developed out of a pidgin that becomes the first language for the speech community.
-when the descendants of the pidgin continues to use the pidgin
-a process of expansion where the creole is developed to cover all aspects of existence, not only trade and work.

Difference
creolisation changes a pidgin into a full fletched language
stems from pidgin

Example
Tok Pisin in Papau New Guinea.
Tok Pisin used to be a pdgin used as a primary mean of communication due to labour migration with a colonised migration
However, it later developed into a creole after descendants of pidgin speaker developed it to become a full fledged language with 2nd and 3 generation speakers
